Anglicare Victoria run in partnership with Dixon House and All Saints Church runs a bi-weekly Emergency Relief service.
What is provided - food parcels, food vouchers and bill assistance through an eligibility assessment. Who is eligible - assistance is focused on those living in the local area, however, those living further away may be eligible based on a eligibility assessment. How often can support be provided - the maximum someone can access the service is once per four weeks. That being said, the program is for emergency relief, therefore this needs to be demonstrated every time. Service days and times - Wednesdays and Thursdays 10-12pm and 1-2:45pm (February to early December). Obtaining service - appointments are not taken, strictly drop-ins only. Enquiries - you can call during service times. At other times, please DO NOT call and leave a message as it will not be responded to - instead you can ask a question online. |
